Shape of a Heart - Châle - Version française - PDF

Shape of a Heart est un châle triangulaire symétrique qui se tricote de haut en bas en aller-retours. Il est parsemé d'un motif en dentelle qui se dessine en miroir de part et d?autre d?une arête centrale. Au fur et à mesure, la dentelle s'accélère jusqu'à former de grands losanges. La dentelle est facile et aisément mémorisable. Elle ne se travaille que sur les rangs impairs. Tous les rangs pairs se tricotent en mailles envers. 
 
Laine: Approximativement 700m de laine Fingering. Le modèle original est tricoté avec 2 écheveaux de By Night Sirius (75%Bluefaced Leicester • 25%Gotland - 100g = 350m) teint à la cochenille.
Taille: 210cmx75cm
Aiguilles: 3,5mm (Vu le nombre de mailles des dernières sections, je conseille d'utiliser des aiguilles circulaires pour plus de confort)
Echantillon (après blocage): 18m x 30 rangs = 10cm selon le motif du diag. 2 (L'échantillon n'est pas indispensable maisun changement d'échantillon affectera la taille finale du châle)

Shape of a Heart is a symmetrical triangle shawl that is worked from the top down beginning with a garter tab cast-on. It is covered by a lace pattern running on both sides of a central spine. As it goes, the lace grows faster until it turns into a diamond shape. The lace pattern is easy to memorize and is knit on the right side of the shawl only. All wrong side rows are purled. 
 
Yarn: Approximately 700m of Fingering yarn. Sample was knit with 2 skeins of By Night Sirius (75%Bluefaced Leicester • 25%Gotland - 100g = 350m) dyed with cochenille.
Size: 210cmx75cm
Needles: 3,5mm (US#4) (using circular needles will make it more comfortable to knit - Adapt needle size to obtain gauge)
Gauge (after blocking: 18m x 30 rangs = 10cm in the chart 2 pattern (Gauge is not necessary but a different one will affect the size of the finished shawl or the amount of yarn used)
