Lift Me est un châle triangulaire asymétrique tricoté de gauche à droite en aller-retours.
Il est né de l'envie de jouer avec les textures - en combinant différents points simples à réaliser - et de jouer avec les matières puisqu'il se construit en alternant des sections courtes et dynamiques réalisées avec 2 types de laine différentes tricotées soit ensemble, soit séparement. Une bordure en iCord tricotée en même temps que le reste du châle lui assure une finition élégante. Et pourquoi ne pas l'égayer encore plus en choisissant des couleurs différentes pour chacune des 2 laines utilisées et rendre votre châle tout à fait unique?

Laine:
Approximativement 750m de laine fingering et 400m de fil lace.  Le modèle original est tricoté avec  2 écheveaux de By Night FullMoon (100% Bluefaced Leicester • 100g = 400m) et 1 écheveau de ByNight Halo (72% KidMohair - 28% soie • 50g = 420m) teints au cachou-cochenille.
Taille :

Echantillon (après blocage) :
19m x 30 rangs = 10cm en jersey (L’échantillon n’est pas indispensable mais un changement d’échantillon affectera la taille finale du châle)
Aiguilles :
3,5mm (Vu le nombre de mailles des dernières sections, je conseille d'utiliser des aiguilles circulaires pour plus de confort)
Autres :
1 anneau marqueur, aiguille à laine, ciseaux et épingles pour la mise en forme

Lift Me is an asymmetric triangle shawl knit from left to right and worked flat. It was born from the idea of playing with textures - by combining different and very easy to make stitch patterns and playing with materials as you will be alternating short and dynamics sections using 2 different type of yarns  - either knit together or separately. An iCord border - knit at the same time as the body - gives the shawl a smart finish. Should you want to make it even more fun? Just pick a different color for each type of yarn and make yourself a totally unique shawl.

Yarn :
About 750m (765y) fingering yarn and 400m (440y) lace yarn. Sample was knit with 2 skeins of By Night FullMoon (100% Bluefaced Leicester • 100g = 400m (440y)) and 1 skein of ByNight Halo (72% KidMohair - 28% silk • 50g = 420m (460y)) dyed with cutch and cochineal (Cachou-cochenille).
Size :
257cm x 65cm (108" x 25")
Gauge (after blocking):
19m x 30 rows = 10cm (4 x 4") in stockinette stitch (Gauge is not necessary but a different one will affect the size of the finished shawl or the amount of yarn used)
Needles :
3,5mm (US #4) (Using circular needles will make it more comfortable to knit - Adapt needle size to obtain gauge)
Notions :
1 stitch marker, darning needles, scissors and pins for blocking.
